Scope of scientific research
Trends in crime development, specifics of youth and juvenale delinquency, crime prevention issues. Author of more than 30 scientific articles, monographs and textbooks. Participated in scientific discussions in the Russian Federation, Ukraine, the Czech Republic and the Austrian Republic.

Work (professional) activity
In 2002 - 2005 lectured on an hourly basis at YSU Faculty of Law.
Since 2005։ lecturer and associate professor at the Faculty of Law of Yerevan State University. Member of the RA Bar Association.
In 2014, by the order of the RA Minister of Justice, was included in the working group dealing with the drafting of the new RA Criminal Code.
2015 - 2019։ Member of the 001 Professional Council awarding legal degrees at YSU.
On January 18, 2017։ was appointed a member of the “independent commission on parole and conditional sentences" and served until the termination of the commission (April 9, 2018).
On May 17, 2018։ by the decree of the President of the Republic of Armenia, was appointed a judge of the Criminal Court of Appeal of the Republic of Armenia, resigned and on September 6, 2018, his powers were terminated.
September 2020 to June 2021- Deputy Minister of Environment of RA
