Within the framework of the "Armenian-Russian Dialogue" conference, Yerevan State University hosted Professor of M. V. Lomonosov Moscow State University, Ph.D. Vasily V. Sazonov.

Students of the YSU "Genocide studies" master's program, showing high progress and activity, are awarded various scholarships. This year, the scholarship awarded by Deacon Barlow Ter-Mkrtchyan, head of the Department of Armenian Studies at the University of Fresno, was awarded to master's program student Shushan Grigoryan.

Nora Arisyan, a graduate of the YSU Oriental Studies Faculty, and Ambassador of the Syrian Arab Republic to Armenia was hosted at the Chair of Arabic Studies of YSU Oriental Studies Faculty.

The team of YSU Law Faculty was declared the winner in the annual insurance law moot-competition organized by the Office of the Financial System Mediator for students.

At the YSU Faculty of Economics and Management, a master class was held at the initiative of the Chair of Management and Business and "SSB Academy", the main goal of which was to provide students with practical knowledge and skills.

On December 3, a round table discussion took place in the YSU Academic Council session entrance hall within the framework of the international conference organized by YSU and Arizona State University and implemented within the framework of the activities of the YSU American Studies Center.

Having made a great contribution to the training of civil service system specialists, Yerevan State University has been conducting courses since 2002 and is the author of many programs. The basis of all this is the high professionalism of the staff of the university and the presence of various specialties operating in YSU.

Alexander Golubov, professor at the University of Twente, and head of the laboratory of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology conducted a seminar on "Quantum topology phenomenon in the superconducting system" at the Faculty of Physics of YSU.

YSU faculty of Russian philology held an event entitled "Yeghishe Charents in translations of Russian poets" dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the great writer.

Participating students who mastered the modern methods of teaching German received certificates.
