On November 14, the student branch of the International Organization of Opticians ("YSO Student Chapter") operating under the Faculty of Physics of YSU, in cooperation with the SSS of the Faculty of Physics, held a regular series of webinars dedicated to quantum optics on the online platform.

Today, the Chair of French Philology of the Faculty of European Languages and Communication of YSU hosted Nicola Mainetti, the head of the management and administration department of The Francophone University Agency.

A course entitled "Personal branding: business image formation", was held at YSU during which the speaker Nvard Melkonyan introduced the essence of self-presentation, touched on the problem of the relationship between image and style, and other important topics.

Khaled al-Fadhli, Director of the Language Center of Kuwait University, presented a lecture on "Dialectics of Language and Thought and the Origin of Arabic Grammatical Terms" at YSU Faculty of Oriental Studies.

Today, on the Philosopher and Student's International Days at YSU Faculty of Philosophy and Psychology a memorandum of understanding was signed with the " Arevahovit: Platform of Armenian Value System Unity" cultural-scientific-educational foundation, and monetary awards were given to the winners of the pre-announced essay contest.

At the informative meeting entitled "The most important ability of successful people", students were introduced to the skills of making successful sales and new offers in the labor market.

Within the framework of the "ARMDOCT" project, a workshop was launched in the city of Teramo; Italy, where the Armenian partners of the project, including university delegations, presented the works being carried out in their universities related to the project and presented the current stage of doctoral studies reforms and what works are being carried out in general.

The Chair of Iranian Studies of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of YSU organizes a course, within the framework of which four students from Cambridge and Edinburgh universities will strengthen their knowledge of Iranian studies and the Persian language in one semester.

One of the world's leading scientific-technological and medical publishing houses, "CRC Press", recently published a book named "Fungal Biotechnology. Perspectives and directions" under the joint editorship of Professor Susanna Badalyan, Ph.D., head of the "Fungus Biology and Biotechnology" Laboratory of YSU Biology Research Institute and her international colleagues.

From now on, there will be a bust of a doctor, professor, and distinguished figure of science Yervand Ter-Minasyan in the YSU foyer, next to the busts of other university honorees.
