NEW PAGE OF THE PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN YSU AND "ARMENPRESS". A MEMORANDUM OF COOPERATION WAS SIGNED
Acting YSU Rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan and Executive Director of "Armenpress" news agency Aram Ananyan signed a memorandum today to implement a strategic partnership and long-term cooperation.

The purpose of the signed memorandum of cooperation is to provide professional support to the students of YSU Faculty of Journalism, as well as the opportunity for their direct participation in various spheres of information policy.

According to the memorandum, it is also planned to organize training and production internships, training of young staff.

YSU Acting Rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan said that this memorandum starts a new page of cooperation with "Armenpress" news agency, expressing hope that it will contribute to the training of even more qualified staff at the Faculty of Journalism.

 

According to him, the university has high expectations from this cooperation, especially considering the current state of the media field, which is flooded with false news, unverified information, etc. "Professional journalism is even more important in this context, as the press is the fourth power, and its impact on public and political life should not be underestimated."

 

 

Dean of YSU Faculty of Journalism Naghash Martirosyan stated that "Armenpress" is a news agency with traditions and walking in time, a unique school, with which it is desirable for the graduates of the faculty to pass as an intern, volunteer and employee.
